In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated for fiscal year 2025, out of amounts not otherwise appropriated, $1,000,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2027, to carry out the Defense Production Act ([50 U.S.C. 4501 et seq.](http://uscode.house.gov/quicksearch/get.plx?title=50&section=4501)).
